Problem solved!
shm was not being built

I had written up the procedure I want to use in LibreOffice than cut and
paste into a term window the line

./waf configure –-refclock=shm 2>&1 | tee conf.waf

the first - is not an ASCII 0x2D the second one is
the char is 0x93

I cut and pasted into Notepad++ and looked at the line in a hex editor

Seems like a bug in LibbreOffice.


built with ./wad configure --refclock=shm
all is good!
