Right - when this was first mentioned - putting shm0 at the end of the 
file - it did make a big difference in startup, both speed and quality. 
But then I went with 'noselect', and it seemed to have the same effect - 
so, just for OCD symmetry in ntp.conf, I put it back next to shm1. :)
