Very typical for Gentoo.  Gentoo stable and unstable installs Python
2.7 and 3.6 by default.

Or install an ntpmon2 and ntpmon3.

The ntpsec ebuild for Gentoo installs multiple python modules.  I wonder if
this recent change broke that?

I try to stay away from the gentoo ebuilds for gpsd and ntpsec so I do
not confuse myself...
