End of leap seconds is nigh

Well, not really nigh, but it will occur, all other things being equal (as 
in, we assume rotation won't suddenly fall ahead or behind by something 
enormous in a given year):

I'm curious what the implications are for us in the time 'business'. 
Obviously not much in the nearterm. 2038 will probably be the larger problem.
