WWVB?

I ran across this:

Which has PPS output.

Would there be any value in attempting to get this working on a Raspi as 
a clock source? Or is the nature of a radio signal from well more than a 
thousand miles away from me too prone to fluctuations due to atmospheric 
conditions, interference, etc - compared to my existing GPS based 
timeserver? It's cheap enough that I might give it a whirl regardless, 
just to see if I could do it.
