I need to spend more quality-time with the board and uCenter. With
hundreds of configs and subconfigs, it kind of turned into a haze before
my eyes. I did not do this with any rigor, mainly poking and prodding.
So it's probably worth investigating more deeply.
I did convince the ebay vendor to refund $5 of the $13 it cost, for
selling counterfeits. What a deal! Too bad ebay has utterly no interest
in cracking down on this sort of thing though.

Yeah, I was expecting an incremental improvement, nothing like that.
Glad I had the 3B+ handy to test with, otherwise I'd probably have just
thrown out the module.
