what causes a sysstats reset ?

Dear All,

I see from time to time a sysstats resets happens, which resets the counter for “ntpq -c sysstat”.
I have some server which are running very long and sysstats reset is the same as uptime. So it never happened.
And there are others where is happens quite often.

What causes such a sysstats reset ?
Obviously it’s not any counter overrun.
