todo, dumping the queue, and what's next.

I think we should retire all of the TODO files and the wishlists,
I think I'm the only person who looks at them and no one updates
them.

I also think I should finish the half-finished scrap cluttering  
my local tress or destroy it.

Then I can actually get to the Go port effort. Does anyone  
remember how that's going? I'm sure quite a bit I said 6-12
months ago is wrong.
