What's in the log file? 

The working case of the server side logging is minimal to reduce log clutter, 
but there should be something helpful in the error case.

How many people currently use shared keys?

I forgot to mention the reason I was asking -- aside from maybe slanting the 
documentation.

I find the hack we added to ntpq to show the number of cookies to be a big 
help.  Should we add something to indicate that a slot is using shared keys?  
I'm thinking of something like a k or s in that column.
