What's name for the gitlab thing that checks post-push and sends yes/no mail?

"pipeline" is the name I was searching for.

I used to get email when the pipeline triggered by one of my push-es finished, 
both failed and worked.  I haven't seen any of that recently.

The notification section of my profile has check boxes for pipeline failed and 
worked (and lots of other stuff).  Both were checked.
