Yup.

Uh, not me.  A few people complained on devel@

And in fact, there is a downside in added complexity and confusion factor.

It gets worse, I just updated my git head, reinstalled, my version still says:

ntplogtemp ntpsec-1.0.1+221 2018-01-02T18:30:45Z

So the version updating is broken.
