Is there a clear statement someplace of what is supposed to happen?

On Fedora, the python library stuff is getting stored in /usr/lib (no local).
 Is that correct?

Is anybody else testing on Fedora?

(The electrical power to my toys is on the fritz so I can't verify things and/or won't be able to do as much testing as I'd like.) I'm pretty sure I saw our libraries in both /usr/lib/ and /usr/local/lib/ but I don't remember where and/or I think that system is offline now.

I assume that applies to code and that it is OK to improve the documentation.

I suggest that you bump the current version number (0.9.9?) so we can all be sure we are testing the to-be-released code. And make a tarball so we can test that too.

How about cloning devel/pre-release.txt and annotating it with what we have tested? That would serve as documentation post-release as well as letting us know where to focus additional work.
