Another maxpoll mixup

That's why I included the snippet of ntp.conf
That system is simple.  The only servers come from "server" lines in ntp.conf
They are coming via DNS lookup.  That's probably a different path than 
numeric IP Addresses.

Put a breakpoint at newpeer and see where it is coming from.
