Hal,

Sorry for the confusion. I was referring to ‘waf configure’ which is part of the build process. What I meant was instead of ‘checking C compiler’ or any of the other binaries/libraries ‘waf configure’ step would check for. Would it be possible to provide a config file which it can take instead of ‘running’ a test executable and finding the info out.
