Really old sh -- pipefail

I don't think it actually dies.  I was testing from the command line and 
that continued to work.  I guess it's flushing the input or something like 
that.

$ set -o pipefail
dash: 1: set: Illegal option -o pipefail
$ set -o pipefail; date
dash: 2: set: Illegal option -o pipefail
$ echo "still working"
still working
$ 
```
