FIPS mode

You provided the patch to make our code run on FIPS systems.

Are you using NTS?

We are currently using an old libriary for the NTS crypto.  I'm looking 
into using OpenSSL directly so we can retire that library.  The library 
works on FIPS systems.  The new code doesn't.

If you are not using NTS, then there is no problem.  If you are using it, 
things get complicated.
