The last time I tried it, libaes_siv wouldn't build with LibreSSL, so that 
would need to be fixed.  Unless LibreSSL provides an adequate AES_SIV 
implementation of its own.

How did they jump from 1.x to 3.x?  Is 2.x considered unlucky? :-)
