Hi Mark,

Sorry for contacting you directly, but I can't seem to get any mails
through via the recommended channels, because of the error below.

I use ntpsec-1.1.0+419 2018-03-14T12:03:57-0700 (Ubuntu 18.04 package)
and have SHA1 authentication enabled.

The 'ntpq -c associations' command shows this:

ind assid status  conf reach auth condition  last_event cnt
===========================================================
   1 10782  9414   yes   yes  none candidate   reachable  1
   2 10783  9414   yes   yes  none candidate   reachable  1
   3 10784  d61a   yes   yes   bad  sys.peer    sys_peer  1


I don't understand the 'auth' = 'bad' in line 3, because it all seems to
work fine (and yes, I do use SHA1 authentication on that server).

Could this be a false positive perhaps? Shouldn't it say 'ok'?

Thought the NTPsec-folks might be interested in looking into this.
