It's easy to add new variables.  Old ntpq may not show them in any of its 
packaged printout like peers or kerninfo, but you can get them by asking 
explicityly.

There are also 2 ways to see a batch of variables.  ntpq can ask for each 
variable it wants to see, or ntpd can return a batch that it thinks are 
interesting.

Perhaps we should review this area.  What will we want to see when NTS is 
deployed.
