Linux and Windows have it, but *BSD and POSIX do not.

BSD has this, and more, but I can't find more doc:

    IP_RECVIFINDEX
        Retrieve the index of the interface on which the datagram was
        received (see if(3N)). Set the argument to non-zero to enable;
        set to 0 to disable.

It seems like there has to be a pony in here somewhere...
