I type temp-log by hand all day. But I agree, that is a very rare use
case.

Actually, I use bash history and autocomplete, so length does not
matter to me either.

So I don't care about length either.  Got something you prefer that is
longer or shorter?

The first does get installed.  The second might be installed soon.

Mark was thinking of a separate ntp-tools package or option.  Many
distros has a X package and a matching X-tools package.  We could make
that easy with a build option.

I see the vast majority of users only using ntpd.

But seriously, do you really need to save USD$0.001 of disk space?
