I fixed the other nasty bug.  I'm scratching my head on the minor ones.

A couple of the utilities use ntplib to get strlcat and/or the command line 
options stuff.  That drags in a whole pile of crap including threads.  I 
haven't figured out if it's worth splitting that out.
