Autokey support removed

I see from the blog, and archives, that Autokey has been removed.

The blog says: "One of these was Autokey, an attempt at securing time
service with public-key cryptography ..."

While re-reading docs today, I came across references to asymmetric
key crypto; do I understand that these references are incorrect now?
